The RoHS Directive 2011/65/EC entered into force on July 21th, 2011 with the aim to reduce the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipments that may cause a threat to human health and environment.

REACH Regulation (Registration Evaluation Authorization of Chemicals) EC 1907/2006 entered into force on June 1st, 2007 to ensure the protection of human health and environment from risks that can be put in place by chemicals. REACH Regulation involves chemical producers, importers and all the businesses where such substances are used or sold, when established in the EU.

Baldassari Cavi can be considered as an a user of chemicals, as it doesn’t deal with the production, importation or marketing of them. Registration activities as far as drafting of technical dossier or chemical safety reports is solely demanded to our suppliers. Baldassari Cavi supports the fundamental principles of the Regulation, by using all the allowed instruments to guarantee compliance of their products.
